Ration and Dram Review

Ration and Dram is a great spot tucked in between Arizona lofts phase 1 and 2 just south of the Lake Claire neighborhood. It is a peaceful place to eat and have drinks. They have several different pleasant areas to sit, two balconies, two bars, and a nice patio with a fountain. One of the balconies is reserved for a smoking section, so there is no smoking on the patio, great for people who are sensitive to smoke.

They are dog friendly on the patio so bring your doggies and let them enjoy a gorgeous day outside. I was with a couple of girlfriends and we decided to sit on the balcony, it was perfect for the golden hour.

The menu isn't huge but they offer a variety of things. My friend Laura had the fish and chips which was more like sliced potato chips with smoked salmon dip. It was delicious.

Britten had the panzanella salad, mixed greens with sweet potato, crusty bread, and quinoa served with tzaiziki sauce. It was very fresh and a nice mix of ingredients.

I ordered the brussels salad and it was awesome! I was craving it before I even left Ration and Dram. It was crispy brussels sprouts with butternut squash, apple, pumpkin seeds, and dressed with brown butter. Yum, yum, yum I will be back soon enough for a repeat order on that salad.

There are many seats for dining and I doubt it would ever get too crowded which makes it a nice choice on popular dining out nights. I can't wait to try other things on the menu from this former co-owner of Holman and Finch.

Tip - They also serve brunch on Saturday and Sundays but are not open until 5 during the week.
